As founder and owner of iDecorr.co, I have utilized my creativity and design expertise over the past 12 years, to help many clients renovate and decorate their homes on a budget. Most people want to renovate, but think they cannot afford it, so therefore they abandon the idea all together. Beautiful renovations can be executed on a significant budget, and I would love to help coordinate your dream home for you. Please e-mail me for a free consultation.
The Kitchen is the focal point of most homes. Adding style and drama to your kitchen is easy with a beautiful colorful backsplash, especially when adding it to a Black and White Kitchen. The Colored Back Splash will bring out the drama and style of your Kitchen, and add Pizzazz to the existing space. If you have a small kitchen, consider incorporating shimmering tiles to open up the space up. Just like a mirror, the brilliant sheen of these Turquoise Glass subway tiles reflects light and makes the space feel more open.
A vibrant Turquoise hue adds a dash of drama to this predominantly beautiful colorful back splash and makes this small space much more interesting.
We really embraced this Blue Beachy Bath, and had fun adding all the beachy touches!! We went to the beach and filled up the glass vases with sea shells and sea glass, as well as the basket next to it. We also added blue towels to this already blue bath, a new chrome 8″ spread faucet, and of course some gorgeous show towels as well. Mixing an old fashioned Nicole Miller shower curtain, with our Beachy theme, adds simple elegance, with a whimsical charm and beauty.
Ooh La La, this is when I learned that a Chandelier can add elegance and beauty in any space, even a small NYC bathroom. I purchased this apartment right after 9/11 and got a great deal on this 550 sq ft. Pre-war 1 bedroom. It was in bad shape, and needed a complete renovation and a significant amount of home decor immediately! This is when I learned that “White” was my favorite color, especially in a bathroom and a kitchen. White on white tiles with different texture adds movement, in a clean, bright, simple way, and just makes the space more interesting. After all of the projects I have done for my investor, my clients and myself, this by far was my favorite one!!
This Kitchen looked like a giant Marshmallow when I first got in there! Much needed to get done. First, all new stainless steel appliances, then, all new Kitchen Cabinet doors and knobs. Of course nothing open ups a Kitchen like glass cabinet doors, which I felt was mandatory! We also added a wine rack on top of the refrigerator (an area where everyone forgets about), but nothing adds sex appeal to a White Kitchen like Tiger Eye! Tiger Eye granite is warm, wild, eye appealing and sexy, especially when accompanied with tumbled marble on an angel, just the ingredients to liven up a boring white kitchen and add tremendous sex appeal!
If you have a large space in your Master Bath, adding a separate shower and a Roman Tub, will significantly increase the value of your home. We surrounded this big beautiful Roman Tub with Travertine slabs, to match the flooring, and to give this Bathroom more of a custom feel. The large soft white Roman Shade provides privacy and beauty to this already exquisite Bathroom. To complete the beauty and simplicity of this Bath, we added Kohler faucets, and as you can see, it can really set the look and feel of your bathroom.
A Joyful, Whimsical, Beachy Bathroom for the kids or your summer home, is just what the doctor ordered! You do not need to spend a fortune to add a bit of a coastal style to your bathroom design. Sea Glass & Sea Shell Wall tiles with White Shells in a vase, adds to the Beachy Decor that everyone loves! Do not forget to add a color, and what better color than Blue! Sometimes keeping it simple is all you need for a fun Beachy Bath!
We took this dark, drab apartment and brightened it up with beautiful new Brazilian Cherry Floors, creamy white walls an entire wall of bookshelves. We tossed the tired old window treatments, and let the sunshine in! This transformation opened up this space, and added depth and square footage and beauty.
